Solar World Energy Solutions has launched three new products, including home energy storage, a utility-scale power conversion system, and high-efficiency solar panels, during the Renewable Energy India Expo.
The new products include home energy storage batteries based on lithium iron phosphate technology with capacities ranging from 1.28 kWh to 5.12 kWh, intended for use with home inverters, emergency power systems, and integrated solar-plus-storage installations. The batteries feature a management system equipped with protection against over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and high-temperature risks, and come with a five-year warranty.
Regarding large-scale solar and storage projects, the company introduced a 2,500 kVA central power conversion system, developed under a co-branding partnership with Belectric. The system boasts an efficiency of up to 99 percent, supports both grid-connected and off-grid operations, and offers air and liquid cooling options.
The third launch is a series of bifacial solar panels with capacities ranging from 650 Wp to 715 Wp. These panels utilize N-type Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) cell technology, providing an efficiency of up to 23.02 percent, with a dual-glass design and a twenty-five-year performance warranty.
Kartik Tilta, the company's Managing Director, explained that the solar sector is witnessing a shift toward integrated systems covering generation, conversion, and storage to meet the diverse needs of developers and consumers, noting plans to expand manufacturing to include solar cell production alongside existing operations in panel manufacturing and energy storage.
