The Turkmen government continues its preparations to organize the 31st International Conference and Exhibition titled "Oil and Gas in Turkmenistan – 2026," which is scheduled to be held in the capital, Ashgabat, under the theme "Energy. Cooperation. Development."
Cabinet meeting to discuss preparations
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a Cabinet of Ministers meeting in a digital format, where the preparations for the upcoming international conference and exhibition topped the meeting's agenda. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Guvanch Agadjanov, reviewed the details of organizing this important event, which comes based on a decision issued by the presidency.
Forum agenda and strategic objectives
The forum's program is scheduled to include plenary sessions, roundtables, bilateral negotiations, in addition to other events and forums. These international events, which are held regularly in Turkmenistan, aim to develop the oil and gas complex and expand the scope of international contacts and relations in this vital sector.
The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister on the necessity of ensuring the highest organizational standards for the success of the "Oil and Gas in Turkmenistan – 2026" conference and exhibition.
