Juniper Green Energy, a company specializing in the renewable energy sector, announced the commissioning of new wind power generation capacities with an additional output of 65.40 MW, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, "Juniper Green Stellar." This move comes as part of the company's expansion of its clean energy project portfolio and the strengthening of its sustainable electricity generation infrastructure.

Renewable Energy Project Expansion and Grid Stability

The new operational capacities are part of a larger dispatchable and stable renewable energy project, which aims to integrate renewable energy generation with battery storage systems to ensure reliable electricity supply. With this new addition, the total operational capacity of the specific project has reached approximately 434.35 MW.

The project relies on battery energy storage systems with a capacity of approximately 201 MWh, while the company plans to bring the total project capacity to 550.6 MW. The combination of wind power and storage helps address the variable nature of renewable energy sources and improves electricity availability when needed, which supports power grid stability amidst rising demand.

Growth of Clean Energy Portfolio

With this latest expansion, the total operational capacity of the parent company and its subsidiaries has reached approximately 2,811 MW, supported by storage systems with a total capacity of 603 MWh. This expansion reflects the institution's commitment to developing clean energy generation and storage infrastructure.

Energy projects that integrate renewable generation with storage solutions are gaining increasing importance as countries seek to increase the share of clean energy in the electricity mix, while maintaining grid reliability and meeting long-term energy transition goals.
