Solis celebrated a full decade of operations in the Indian market, announcing a new strategic step involving expansion into the energy storage sector through the launch of the advanced Solis Storage system. The official announcement was made during the company's technical symposium held in Surat, Gujarat, India, attended by a gathering of customers, business partners, and renewable energy professionals to discuss the latest technologies and industrial trends.
Expanding Towards Integrated Energy Storage Solutions
The launch of the new system represents an important milestone to enhance the company's portfolio and meet the growing demand for advanced energy storage solutions in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. With increasing interest from Indian institutions in improving solar energy consumption efficiency and managing peak electrical loads, the new systems provide flexible options to enhance reliance on backup power and optimize the use of locally generated energy.
Innovative Systems for the Commercial and Industrial Sectors
During the symposium, the company showcased two main energy storage systems tailored to meet the needs of the commercial and industrial sectors: the EverCor system and the FlexCor-ID system. The first system relies on an integrated outdoor storage unit combining battery storage and hybrid inverter technology to facilitate installation processes, while the second system features an indoor modular design that provides flexibility for future expansion and storage capacity adaptable to various space requirements and existing projects.
Future Vision for Developing the Energy Sector
Idrish Khan, Chief Technology Officer at the company, affirmed that the Indian market has witnessed a remarkable transformation over the past years, shifting focus from merely spreading awareness about solar energy to seeking integrated energy management and storage solutions that grant systems greater flexibility and value. He pointed out that the company is focusing in the coming phase on adapting its solutions to meet local market requirements and enhancing technical support to ensure the success of energy storage projects throughout their lifecycle.
