Global and local energy markets witnessed a noticeable decline in oil prices at the start of the week, with the decrease reaching approximately 2 percent. This usually reflects, gradually, on the costs of refined petroleum products and retail prices for consumers at gas stations.
Upcoming gasoline and diesel price cuts
In this context, it was decided to apply a new reduction on gasoline prices by 4.30 lira, with the reduced prices expected to appear and be officially adopted at the pumps starting Tuesday. This decline is an extension of recent price movements in the energy sector, as the previous period, specifically about two weeks ago, saw a previous reduction affecting diesel prices by about 4.80 lira, amidst continuous monitoring of market indicator changes.

Updated fuel price lists show varying details between major cities; in the European part of Istanbul, the price per liter of gasoline settled at 84.70 lira, while a liter of diesel recorded 90.20 lira, and a liter of LPG reached 41.20 lira.
