Kazancı Holding, through its specialized arm Aksa Energy, intends to expand its investments in the energy sector in Uzbekistan by injecting new investments worth 200 million US dollars. This step comes within the framework of the company's efforts to strengthen its presence in the fields of electricity distribution and to develop energy infrastructure in the country, after successfully achieving a production capacity of 1,220 MW through its plants in Tashkent, Bukhara, and Talimarjan.

Strengthening the Strategic Partnership

In a related context, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazancı Holding, Cemil Kazancı, held an official meeting with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in the capital, Tashkent. The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Fuel and Energy Sector Investors Council, discussed ways to deepen joint cooperation and future projects aimed at modernizing electricity distribution networks in four key regions, including Samarkand, where the company has already obtained the right to manage the distribution network for 30 years.

Goals of the New Expansions

The new investments, estimated at 200 million dollars, which will be implemented over the next two years, aim to increase the operational efficiency of electricity networks and modernize them to ensure the provision of more reliable and sustainable energy services to consumers. The company's strategic vision focuses on integrating its power generation capabilities with its distribution expertise, which contributes directly to supporting the energy transition process taking place in Uzbekistan.

Cemil Kazancı emphasized the strategic importance of Uzbekistan within the company's long-term plans, pointing out that the reform vision adopted by President Mirziyoyev creates a fertile environment for investment and supports the strong bilateral relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan. Kazancı explained that the company is not only focusing on the energy sector but also intends to contribute to community development by building educational schools similar to those established by the company in Turkey, within the framework of its social responsibility to support sustainable development and long-term economic growth in Uzbekistan.
