Türkiye İş Bankası has announced its official participation as a "Climate Supporter" at the UN Climate Change Conference COP31, scheduled to be held in Antalya, Turkey, from November 9 to 20, 2026, hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. This participation comes within the framework of the bank's strategic efforts to support the transition to a low-carbon economy and to connect Turkish environmental projects with international partners.

Through its presence in the conference's "Green Zone," the bank aims to focus on providing tangible solutions and strengthening strategic partnerships that accelerate the implementation of climate goals. In this context, Ebru Özşuca, Deputy Chief Executive of the bank, emphasized the vital importance of the steps taken to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy. Özşuca explained that cooperation on common goals is an urgent necessity, stressing the importance of understanding customer needs in the transformation journey and enhancing the feasibility of climate projects to ensure effective results.

The bank aims to highlight its role in building a sustainable future by contributing to scientific research and protecting natural ecosystems. This participation is a step within the framework of the bank's commitment to the basic principles of dialogue and collective action to contribute to the environmental transformation taking place in Turkey, ensuring the construction of a strong future capable of facing global climate challenges through qualitative and responsible investments.
