Netfec has announced a new tender for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 50 kW off-grid solar photovoltaic power plant, integrated with a battery energy storage system in the Odiya region of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to establish a solar energy facility capable of operating completely independently of the traditional electricity grid, supported by battery storage systems to provide electrical current during times when solar power generation is absent.
This tender was issued through the company's Unified Shared Service Center, specifically the Contracts and Materials department in Chhattisgarh. The procurement process is subject to domestic competitive bidding under a single-envelope, single-stage system. The project covers the full scope of implementation for the plant, including equipment supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, with the energy storage system forming a core component to ensure the continued availability of electricity.
Execution conditions and timelines
According to the tender conditions, the winning contractor is required to complete the full scope of work within four months starting from the date specified by the engineer in charge. The contract is awarded on a fixed-price basis, with financial evaluation conducted on a lump-sum basis, requiring applicants to consider the full project requirements when preparing their commercial bids. A performance guarantee equivalent to five percent of the contract value has also been specified.
The bidding process and deadlines are subject to the regulations stipulated in the official e-procurement portal. The terms offer opportunities for small and medium enterprises to benefit from procurement preference advantages in accordance with applicable regulations, which promotes the expansion of clean energy and energy storage infrastructure in the targeted region.
